Regular attendance at school is compulsory by law. It is also vital to help the continuity of learning experiences and social adjustment and to feel connected to the school. However, children who are not well should not attend and should be kept in the warmth and comfort of home for their and others’ well-being.
Parents are required to enter their child's absence details via the COMPASS APP either prior to the day of absence or the day of absence.
For infectious diseases (Chicken Pox, Diptheria, Measles, Scarlet Fever, Rubella and Whooping Cough, Mumps, School Sores, etc.) an exclusion table is on file at the school. Should you have any queries please feel free to contact the school. Students who fall below 90% attendance will automatically be placed on the schools attendance register and future absences closely monitored.
